China Meteorological Society Statistical Meteorology and Climate Prediction Committee conference of the whole committees was held in Hangzhou on April 12th. Fan Guangzhou, Lv Shihua two professors of School of Atmospheric Sciences was invited to attend this conference and made reports. Professor Fan Guangzhou gave a report entitled ‘Research on the Characteristics of Plateau Monsoon Variation’. Professor Lu Shihua’s report entitled ‘the Yellow River source area of land surface process and simulation study’.
