Chengdu university of information technology successfully held bilateral seminar
On November 10-13, funded by the science center (CDZ) approval of Howard’s bilateral conference successfully held in chengdu. The academic seminar themed”Development of new monitoring strategies for the investigation of acute air pollution and bioaerosol episodes and reducing their impacts on human health”. This seminar is supported by the sino-german science foundation research and exchange center(hereinafter referred to as sino-german center) (project number: GZ1502). Jointly sponsored by chengdu university of information technology and the university of Munich, Germany. Co-organized by institute of atmospheric physics of Chinese academy of sciences, institute of environmental protection science of sichuan province, institute of environmental protection science of chengdu, society of environmental science of chengdu, medical meteorology committee of Chinese meteorological society, organized by chengdu university of information technology. More than 40 units of hundreds of experts and scholars and young students attended the seminar. Most experts from Munich university of technology from Germany, the helmholtz center Munich, karlsruhe institute of technology, university of wuppertal, Dusseldorf, the German aerospace centre at the university of applied sciences, university of granada, institute of earth environment, Chinese academy of sciences, lanzhou university, sun yat-sen university, sichuan university, China university of geosciences (Beijing), China university of mining &technology (Beijing), China university of geosciences (wuhan), nanjing information engineering university, Beijing university of chemical industry, the China meteorological administration, meteorological center, China meteorological administration (cma) in Beijing city meteorological institute, Shanghai meteorological bureau climate center in Shanghai, shenzhen research institute of city university of Hong Kong. The symposium will exchange the latest research results and the development and application of new technologies and products of the participating researchers, and strengthen international exchanges and cooperation between atmospheric environment research (aerosol research) and health research. The ultimate goal of the workshop is to identify the main scientific topics of the dfg-nsfc joint research in these areas, as well as the cooperative alliance for research.
Ms. Xiaoyi Shi, assistant director of the sino-german science center, professor fan guangzhou, vice President of chengdu university of information technology, and the project leaders of both sides delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. Ms. Xiaoyi Shi, assistant director of the sino-german science center, on behalf of the sino-german science center, welcomed the experts and scholars from domestic and overseas and wished the symposium a complete success. Prof. Guangzhou Fan , Vice President of Chengdu University of Information Technology, said in his speech that he was entrusted by president Minming Yu to thank the Sino-German Science Center for their support of the seminar project and warmly welcome the guests and experts and scholars and then introduced the basic situation of our school and the cultural heritage of Chengdu. He emphasized the importance of this seminar for promoting the discipline of atmospheric science and atmospheric environment, he hopes to enhance Chengdu University of Information Engineering and domestic and international scientific research cooperation and academic exchanges through effective research and exchanges, establish long-term cooperative relations, expand international influence, improve the research ability of teachers and students, and strive to organize the conference and promote international exchanges and cooperation. Professor Mark Wenig, the head of the china-germany conference program, and professor Xiaoling Zhang, the head of the Chinese side, gave speeches respectively, which is a brief introduction to the theme of the symposium and the results of the project.
