Recently, Yu Zhang, vice President of the school of atmospheric sciences and his delegation went to the ShenZhen meteorological bureau for investigation. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on the cooperation of scientific research projects, the establishment of a new cooperation mechanism and the enhancement of resource sharing.

Lei Li researcher, ShenZhen weather bureau chief engineer, accompanied with Yu Zhang and others visited the ShenZhen national climate observatory, 350 m meteorological gradient observation tower in ShenZhen and ShenZhen observatory, Mr Zhang introduced the main business and the important contribution in public meteorological services of the ShenZhen bureau of meteorology in recent years, especially the 26th world university games meteorological support services in 2011.
